Baker Industries is home to one of North America’s most diverse and advanced collections of equipment, with over 65,000 square feet of temperature-, vibration-, and access-controlled machining space and an extensive collection of cutting-edge CNC machines, including several of the largest in the world.
Over the past 30+ years, we have continuously invested in the latest and largest technology from around the globe, growing to become one of the continent’s leading providers of high-quality CNC machining services and the first choice of the world’s leading shipbuilding and maritime companies.
We machine a variety of metal, plastic, and composite materials, including exotic metals such as Inconel®, Invar®, and titanium. We have experience machining parts, prototypes, and tooling as small as an inch or less and as large as 100+ feet long, performing various machining operations, including boring, drilling, milling, tapping, turning, threading, and more.
We excel at developing and applying advanced manufacturing solutions to meet the complex needs of our customers and the precise tolerances they demand. We plan and schedule work to meet strict deadlines and tackle some of the industry’s largest and most challenging projects.
Our skilled team of machinists, many of whom have been with the company (and their machines) for more than 20 years, are all programmers and operators, reducing downtime and ensuring that our equipment is operated to its full potential.
We machine a very comprehensive range of materials, including metals, plastics, and some composites. Expand the sections below to see non-exhaustive lists of the materials we most commonly work with. We have extensive experience with and the equipment to handle many exotic, difficult, and volatile materials, including Inconel®, Invar®, titanium, magnesium, and more.
