Brian Baker is the General Manager of Baker Industries, a Lincoln Electric company. Growing up around the shop, he has had a lifelong passion for manufacturing. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance at Michigan State University, Brian worked in accounting at other companies before joining his family business. After seeing the company’s explosive growth, he knew that he wanted to be a part of the success, so he started working at Baker Industries as a Program Manager in 2013. Over the next few years, he worked his way up to Chief Financial Officer. When his father and uncle retired following the company’s acquisition by Lincoln Electric in 2019, Brian took over as General Manager. As a business founded and grown by his own family, he takes great pride in the work that Baker Industries does, the relationships the company builds with its customers, and continuing the legacy that his uncle and father built over the past 30+ years.
