Baker Industries are proud sponsors of Michigan’s Military event benefiting Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs. On October 15th, Baker attended the Michigan Military charity dinner which raised over $170,000 and had 6 Michigan Veterans paired with a service dog to help them with varying disabilities. Guardian Angels train medical service dogs to mitigate the challenges associated with these disabilities, including: PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), Traumatic Brain Injury, seizure disorders, glucose imbalance, mobility issues, hearing impairment and more. These dogs make such a huge impact in the life of a Veteran and we are proud to have made an impact.
