Our Quality & EHS Certifications

ISO 9001:2015

International Organization for Standardization

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

All the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.

ISO 14001:2015

International Organization for Standardization

ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system and can be certified to. It maps out a framework that a company or organization can follow to set up an effective environmental management system.

Designed for any type of organization, regardless of its activity or sector, it can provide assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.

AS9100D

Nadcap Measurement & Inspection (AC7130)

National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program

Measurement & Inspection (M&I) processes are utilized throughout manufacturing to verify products meet specification. Failure to accurately measure can lead to performance degradation, sub-optimal products, manufacturing and assembly problems, increased cost and lead-time, reduced life, and part failure. A range of methods contribute to the effectiveness of M&I processes including calibration, product definition and interpretation of requirements, inspection planning and feature coverage, equipment and measurement process validation, maintenance and measurement environments, and training and competencies. Today, only a few of these processes are audited at a detailed-industry wide level, which causes M&I basics to be missed in current audit programs leaving high potential for product impact. To help with this issue, the Nadcap M&I Task Group was launched at the October 2012 Nadcap Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. Voting members were identified, procedures and checklists were developed, and the M&I program was released in 2013. As of October 2016, Al Berger of GE Aviation is the Nadcap Measurement & Inspection Task Group Chairperson, supported by Vice Chairperson Norman Gross from The Boeing Company. The Task Group is also comprised of over 30 industry representatives from 27 different companies.

Certified Welding Inspectors

American Welding Society

Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) must demonstrate keen attention to detail along with other requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities, and are often considered the safety nets that catch potentially catastrophic mistakes.

It’s the CWI’s responsibility not only to determine if a weldment meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard, or other specification but also to handle qualification records, oversee non-destructive testing and ensure proper materials are available during testing.

Therefore, it is important that the CWI is familiar with welding processes, welding procedures, welder qualifications, materials, and weld testing limitations, as well as how to read blueprint drawings, prepare and keep records, prepare and make reports, and make responsible judgments.

Certified Welding Supervisors

American Welding Society

The Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) Program leverages the AWS Body of Knowledge that welding supervisors should know and understand to demonstrate they possess the necessary skills, training, and knowledge to be able to lead their team to work even more productively and successfully. Here are three ways Certified Welding Supervisors can enrich any welding operation:

Manage Resources: facilitate communication, review materials and manpower, and maximize them both to achieve production goals while following safety protocols.
Improve Productivity: coordinate and monitor welding procedures on the floor to discover and implement workflow efficiencies.
Increase the Bottom Line: by monitoring materials, labor, and procedures, all efficiencies gained translate to lower costs and a growing profit margin.

The AWS Certified Welding Supervisor program confirms supervisors have the necessary skills, training, and knowledge to lead their teams to work even more productively and successfully.

Therefore, the AWS program for the Certification of Welding Supervisors defines minimum standards for Welding Supervisors and provides a means of recognition for those who demonstrate that they have the skills, knowledge, and experience in the field of welding supervision.

A CWS gains valuable recognition and experience that can expand their career, result in higher career-long income, improve job security and offer professional prestige that marks their skills and knowledge as among the industry’s elite.
